If you're in Vancouver and my posts appear at an unusual time, it's because i'm visiting Europe again for summer!
For those on Instagram, you can follow my travels by looking at the hashtag #komorebixeurope

Here it is finally, part one of my shoot with Elizabeth!
It's always a pleasure to work with this talented one because not only is she stellar at photography, but she also knows how to do makeup!
Ombre lip anyone?
It was a lot of fun planning this shoot along side her because I could be as daring as I wanted to be. Coming up with ideas and outfits that paired together was easy due to our similar minds in terms of concept, style and imagination.
The selected outfits for this collaboration stemmed from a recent order of clothes that were more unique than usual.
(view them
on my Instagram here and here)
And to highlight their
colourful designs I wanted to capture them in a different setting compared to my usual shoots.
Hence the location of VanDusen Botanical Garden was used.
The garden itself holds many species of plants that complimented the clothing, but still added a dramatic flair to the photos.
Even though we spent several hours wandering the garden, I didn't manage to visit half of the garden. So I'll be sure to visit the gardens again. If any of you in Vancouver have the time to check out this magical place, do go! My favourite locations so far were the Chinese pagoda, waterfall & miniature succulent garden Elizabeth and I tumblr fan-girled over.

Not much of an update, but something to keep this page alive.
Usually I post more layered looks, but I wanted to showcase a light-weight and simple outfit for the summer weather.
For anyone who knows me, I am currently in love with sneakers, especially Nike Roshes. Their exceptionally comfy and light weight, so it's easy to bring along when one travels. Transiting to university next year will require more practical shoes, therefore Nike became one of my favourite shoe stores because their designs are quirky.
As usual this was shot by my goto woman, Sayaka where we shared boxed green tea and holiday plans.

After prolonging this much needed post, I decided to collect all of my favorite shots by Jenny and put them in one post. If you check, I deleted my previous post because it would be redundant to re-post the same photos in two posts. These were all shot around Jenny's neighbourhood where we took advantage of unique locations for our shoot. I'm very picky with photos so I was a bit dubious whether or not if I could pose in random places. Regardless Jenny handled my lack of posing abilities like a pro and came up with these lovely photos...hope you guys enjoy!

Bandit Boulevard

On me: top via Monki, shorts via Bossini, heels via Jeffrey Campbell, all jewelry via Ardene

After a hiatus, I'm proud to say I've officially graduated from high school and will blog on a more frequent basis.
The month of June was audaciously filled with tutoring sessions, nights of writing, stacks of paper ranking from 2-5, hours spent on, occasional group meet-ups for final Economic projects, and mock wedding ceremonies for Law class. Granted the month held an unexpected amount of assignments, but it was rewarding to leave the exam hall knowing you at least got a 3 out of 6... (much wow)

This look was my final look with Serena and was a favourite of mine, because I rarely find ways to pair shorts and tights inconspicuously. Growing up I've heard of the sinning combination referred as shorts and tights. However due to weather prohibitions, I ended up adding tights to an outfit that resulted in this look. Being a sucker for graphic prints, I automatically gravitated to this sleeveless button up when shopping in Hong Kong last year, and paired my old Bossini shorts with them. I've been meaning to purchase new denim shorts, but alas, every decent pair that has a length of 'not too short' is over my budget or outrageously priced. The jacket was selected due to its structure and wool texture that complimented the blue on denim look. Accessory wise, I enjoy adding rings and bracelets to my outfits for a pop of metallic. And with my sudden obsession of Ardene, has my collection of rings/bracelets expanded immensely.
